Jibe Preventer

I've done it like Stan did. Taking the line forward rather than straight down to the jib track works a little better.

I've run a line from the end of the boom to the bow cleat (I don't have

a cleat on the track)and it seemed to work fine.

Has anyone rigged a preventer on the boom to minimize the effects of an accidental jibe?
