At the end of each phrase is where the children are allowed to improvise with non-tunable percussion instruments.

In closing:

Blues and Jazz, created primarily by African-American influences is the predominant inspiration that helped to create the "pop" music of the world. So I invite you to celebrate Black History regardless of which country that you live. Celebrate through song and dance and let the blues "groove".

Joe Turner Blues was what some term as a prototype blues
song. It is "folk-blues" or "blues" before it was recognized
art. The Joe Turner of the now familiar song was, Joe Turney
who was the broth ...
