ArtsEdge has many articles that cover areas that help teachers become experts in making contact with other teachers in regard to sharing resources and the like. The first link takes you to the search page. What you can do is type in multicultural or networking and see the great results you get, especially under the category of teaching materials. Bookmark the ArtsEdge site, you'll be glad you did.

Suite 101 Multicultural Resource Editor, J. Todd Chas has some in-depth resources and articles from which you could base many lessons on. His most recent series is on the Aztecs. Drop by and check it out, first hand.

Earth Day lessons and activities are at this site. Good stuff for Earth Day which is April 22nd.

The Earth and Moon Viewer is a very interesting child oriented project.

Here's an interesting lesson on how students learn about other cultures through music. Cultural Comparisons Through Teenage Music is a well organized lesson that offers objectives, procedures and sample sites. Just print it out and you've got yourself a multicultural music lesson.

The Multicultural Pavillion - At this site you will find many helpful resources for interaction with others as well as good strategies for finding the information that you are needing. The answers of the questions posed below can be found on the intitial thoughts page. Great food for thought, I might add. What is multicultural education? Why is it important? Who benefits from multicultural education?

As I browsed through this site, I found some great suggestions for webmasters as well as good info for surfers. Mr. Gorski has a checklist for webmasters to see if there is more that you could be doing to fulfill the needs of others.

The Multicultural Pavillion has a listserv of their own as well as a bulletin board. They also have a tremendous links list.
