Cherie Ann (Sedgwick) Weaver was born in Amherst, Texas in 1955. In 1957 the family moved to Washington State. Cherie started school at Moses Lake, Washington.
When the family moved to the Philippines in 1968, she was just finishing up her elementary education. When the family returned to the States in 1971 she finished High School at Henderson, Texas.
Soon after her graduation, she was married to John Richard Weaver. To that union was born two children: a boy, Shaun Richard, and a girl, Shea Ann. Shaun is attending Texas Tech University in Lubbock. Shea is attending Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas, though she spent part of her sophomore year working with an inner-city program in Dallas.
John has worked for a telephone company all their married lives. Cherie taught computer in the elementary level at Henderson for a few years. She is now working with the Carlisle Schools where she will serves as Technology Coordinator/Computer Technician, in an administration capacity.
