Daniel Twain Sedgwick was born at Rising Star, Texas, July 8, 1954. When he was just a few days old the family moved to Abilene, where his father enrolled in Abilene Christian College. From there the family moved to Amherst, Texas, and then on to Washington State.
Dan started school in Moses Lake, Washington, where he continued into Junior High School. Then the family made their move to the Philippines for the next three years.
Upon returning from the Philippines, and moving to Henderson, Texas, Dan continued in school for a while, then began working at various jobs. He later received his GED diploma. Dan has engaged in various works for all his life, mostly construction work. He did move to Palestine, Texas, where he worked for the city for a while. He spent several years in construction again, and working throughout much of East Texas. He now lives in Elkhart, TX, and is employed by the country, where he mows along the highways, etc.
Dan was married to Debbie Smith in the mid-70's. To that union was born Kristen. Kristen graduated from High School this year (1998) at Plano, and went on to get her higher education at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where she graduated in 2002. She moved to Chicago to be nearer her mother. Kristen married Brady Peoples in June of 2005. They continued to live and work in Chicago for a while, but since have moved to Seattle, Washington where they would be near their parents. Kristen is working at Starbucks headquarters as a business analyst.
