Fishing with Hobo

Recently had the chance to fish with a young man out in Texas and did i have a blast. We fished topwater frogs, something i've never done before and it was an eyeopener.

as you can see in the picture above, the small lake or pond we were on was just covered in hydrilla, which made me a little apprehensive at first, then he started dragging fish out

We caught some really nice fish, ranging in size from squeakers up to four pounds

I could not pull all the pictures off my cheap phone and they came out different sizes so you will have to forgive me

I will be the first to admit, i got my ass handed to me on this trip but it was the most fun i've had in a long time

Some were squeakers, all were fun. Don't know why my pics came out different sizes, don't claim to be a tech wiz. The pics from here and above were from sunday morning, i couldn't pull all the pictures off my phone and some of the ones i had were not worth posting, they were so fuzzy. Everything below are from Saturday evening.

He caught several fish in the 2 to 2 1/2 pound range, besides some squeakers but he caught at least two fish we weighed that were 3.8 and 3.11

All are beautiful fish

I had the most fun i've had in forever, fishing with my brother-in-law was a blast. Hope soon to get the invitation back out and i definitely won't turn it down. The few pictures posted here don't reflect all the fish we caught but my cheap phone kinda let us down there. Next time i will have a better camera handy and will post some better pics. Thanks Hobo for the trip, hope to return the favor if you get down this way anytime soon.
