Elsworth Ady
Funeral services for Elsworth Ady, 66, Moody county farmer who
died Tuesday, were Thursday at the Methodist church in Flandreau, S. D.
Burial was in the Flandreau cemetery under the direction of the Thomas funeral home.
Mr. Ady was born July 11, 1898, at Spirit Lake, Iowa, and spent
his childhood in Schaller, Iowa. He resided in Moody county since 1916.
He married Dora Larson in 1920.
Survivors include the widow; a son, Francis of Flandreau; three
daughters, Mrs. Vernie Schuldt of Pipestone, Minn., Mrs. Jack Kurt of
Pittsburg, Calif., and Mrs. Carl James of Williston, N. D.; a brother,
Cedric of San Jose, Calif.; five sisters, Mrs. G. E. Gjero of Pipestone,
Minn., Mrs. Harry Thompson of Sisseton, S. D., Mrs. Floyd Larson and
Mrs. Curtis Nass, both of Flandreau, S. D., and Mrs. Gerald Peterson of
DeSmet, S. D., and seven grandchildren.
