James Wesley Allen

  James Wesley Allen, of Lenox, passed from this life last Saturday, February 4, 1922, at the age of about 79 years. Mr. Allen located in Lenox in 1901 or 1902 and had made many friends who will miss him from his accustomed place. Mrs. Allen departed this life last June. The deceased gentlemen is survived by three children, Mrs. Tom Ford, Charles Allen of Omaha, and John Allen, residing in the west. Funeral services were held Monday at the Catholic church in Lenox, conducted by Rev. Father Fussia, and the body was brought to Corning for interment in Calvary cemetery. Mr. Allen was an uncle of Mrs. Dom Conway, of Corning. Mr. and Mrs. Conway attended the funeral.

James W. Allen

  The remains of J. W. Allen who passed away Saturday were brought to Corning Monday following the funeral in that city in the Catholic church, and burial was made in Calvary cemetery. His wife passed away in June of last year; three grown children survive their parents, Mrs. Tom Ford, Charles Allen of Omaha and John Allen in Montana. Mr. and Mrs. Dom Conway attended the funeral, the gentleman being an uncle of Mrs. Conway.
