Margaret Nettie Armagost - February 22, 2008
Margaret N. Armagost, 91, of Iowa Falls, Iowa and formerly of
Popejoy, Iowa, passed away Friday, February 22, 2008, at the Heritage
Care Center, Iowa Falls. Funeral services for Margaret N. Armagost will
be 10:00 am Monday, February 25th at the Linn's Funeral Home, 1521
Washington Avenue, Iowa Falls (641) 648-2569. Burial will be at the
Northlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery, Iowa Falls. The Linn's Funeral Homes
Iowa Falls Chapel has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Margaret Nettie Rout was born August 13, 1916, to Anna M. [Espe]
and Zeddie Rout on the family farm southwest of Dows, Wright County,
Iowa. She attended Dows schools. On August 13, 1938, Margaret was united
in marriage to Walter L. Armagost. To this union two children were born,
Gary and Jan. Margaret farmed with her husband and was a homemaker.
Margaret is survived by her son: Gary [Sandra] Armagost of
Anderson, Indiana; her daughter Jan K. Dean of Tulsa, Oklahoma. One
granddaughter: April K. Iacofano of Cape Cod, Florida. and several
nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: Anna and
Zeddie Rout; her husband: Walter Armagost [1972]; one sister: Violet
Magnusson; and two brothers: Melvin Rout and William Rout, Sr.
