| Funeral Services Held Saturday For Mrs. Eliza Boyles
Funeral services were held Saturday for Mrs. Eliza Boyles, 83,
of rural Reynolds who died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 1962 at St. Anthony's
hospital in Rock Island.
Services were at 8:15 a.m. at the Crummy Funeral Home in Viola and at 9
a.m. in St. Joseph's cemetery at Preemption.
Mrs. Boyles was born March 26, 1879 in Preemption township, a
daughter of Frank and Eliza Horan Lucas. She was married to Guy Boyles
in Keithsburg on Jan 15, 1908.
She was a member of St. Anthony's Roman Catholic church at Matherville
and the Altar and Rosary Society of the church.
Survivors include two sons, Francis and Paul, both of Reynolds; a
daughter, Miss Helen Boyles, Rock Island, seven grandchildren; two
sisters, Mrs. Katherine Iverson and Mrs. Margaret Crawford, both of Rock Island.
Her husband, two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
