Francis Boyles
Francis W. Boyles, 86, Reynolds, died Sunday, Nov. 15, 1998,
at Lynncrest Manor Nursing Home, Aledo.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Catherine's Catholic Church,
Aledo. Burial is in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Preemption Township.
Visitation is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Family Funeral Service,
Aledo, with a rosary at 8. Memorials may be made to Lynncrest Manor.
He was born Jan. 14, 1912, in Reynolds, the son of Guy and Eliza
Lucas Boyles. He married Teresa O'Connor Jan. 9, 1937, in Aledo.
He was a 1930 Aledo High School graduate. He farmed the family
farm all of his life. He was a member of Holy Name Society at St.
Catherine's Catholic Church. He was a member of Mercer County Farm
Bureau and a board of director at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa; daughters, Mary Martel,
Silvis, Patricia Fuller, Aledo, and Frances Curran, Davenport; 11
grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Helen Boyles, Silvis;
and a brother, Paul Boyles, Reynolds.

at Lynn Crest Manor Nursing Home in Aledo. Funeral services were to be
held 10:30 Wednesday, Nov. 18 at St. Catherine's Catholic Church
in Aledo, with Fr. Gregory Plunkett and Fr. Jerry Logan officiating. Burial
will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Preemption Township.
Visitation was held Tuesday evening at Family Funeral Service in
Aledo. Memorials may be made to Lynn Crest Manor Nursing home.
Francis was born Jan. 14, 1912, the son of Guy and Eliza
