Services for Leo C. Callahan, 95, of Keithsburg, are 11 a.m.
Wednesday, May 11, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Keithsburg, where he
was a member. Burial is in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m.
today at Dennison Funeral Home, Aledo. Memorials may be made to the
Keithsburg Volunteer Fire Department.
He died Saturday, May 7, 2005, at Mercer County Hospital, Aledo.
Leo was born April 26, 1910, in Mercer County, to Leo R. and
Minnie Callahan. He married Iris Willits June 5, 1938, in Keithsburg.
She died June 2, 1975.
Survivors (and spouses) are his daughter, Janet Anne (Gene) Nylin,
O'Fallon, Mo.; son, Leo (Helen) Callahan, Lancaster, Wis.; five
grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Marilyn (Colin) Paul,
Peoria, Ill.; brother, Lester (Ruth) Callahan, Keithsburg.
