Funeral service for Kimala "Kim" Kay Junkman
Christiansen of Lidderdale will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 31, 1999, at
St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Carroll.
Mrs. Christiansen, 39, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1999, at St.
Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll.
Pastor Tom Otis will officiate the service. The casket will be moved to
the church at 8 a.m.
Casket bearers will be Dan O'Rourke, Jeff Christiansen, Donald
Olson, Mike Perry, Dion Perry, Paul Reinart and Dan Gronstal.
Burial will be in Carroll Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 5 and a prayer service will be held at 7
tonight at Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll.
Born July 22, 1960, at Sac City, she was a daughter of Herbert E.
and Waneta (Van Scoy) Junkman. She was baptized and confirmed at St.
Paul Lutheran Church in Rockwell City and attended schools in Rockwell City.
She and David Christianson were married Dec. 13, 1986, at St.
John Lutheran Church in Carroll with the Rev. Robert Floy officiating.
Mrs. Christianson had lived in Carroll 25 years. She worked at 71
- 30 Motel, Commercial Coolers and most recently at Pac 'N' Save:
Survivors include her husband, David, of Lidderdale three
children: Justin, Nicholas and Stephanie, all at home; her father,
Herbert Junkman, and stepmother, Nancy, of Rockwell City; her
parents-in-law: Virgil "Termite" and Catherine Christianson of
Carroll; her grandmother, Sena Junkman, of Lake City; two sisters:
Monica Reinart and her special friend, Donald Olson, of Carroll and
Terri Moland of Nemaha; a brother, Jerry Junkman, and his wife, Bernita,
of Rockwell City; a stepsister, Tammy Junkman, of Rockwell City; a
half-brother, Herbert Junkman, of Rockwell City; several nieces,
nephews, aunts and uncles; and two special friends: Dan O'Rourke and Kitty Halbur.
