Clifford Clark
Funeral services for Clifford A. Clark, 66, of Keithsburg,
were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Keithsburg Christian Church. The Rev.
Harold Andrews, former pastor, officiated, and burial was in the
Greenmound Cemetery, Keithsburg, under the direction of the Olin Funeral Home.
Mr. Clark died at 5 a.m. Saturday, May 20, in Cottage Hospital,
Galesburg, following an extended illness.
Mr. Clark was born Jan. 22, 1912, in Keithsburg, a son of Harry
O. and Mary Gaylor Clark. He was a graduate of the former Keithsburg
High School. On Aug. 12, 1931 he married Hulda Robbins in Joy.
Mr. Clark was employed as a machinist at the John Deere
Industrial Equipment plant in Moline until 1959, when he retired.
He was a member of the Keithsburg City Council, the Odd Fellows
Lodge of Oquawka, the Keithsburg Christian Church and was president of
Keithsburg Senior Citizens, and a member of the Keithsburg Lions Club.
Survivors are his wife; a son, James, of Keithsburg; two
grandchildren and a great-grandson; and two sisters, Mrs. Henry Swank of
Keithsburg and Mrs. Ada Brown of Mendon, Mo.
