Ralph Clark, 62, of Arenzville dies
Beardstown - Ralph Clark, 62, of Arenzville, died at 12:31
p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 25, at Passavant Hospital.
He was born March 23, 1923, in Virginia, a son of H.S. and Mary
Hamilton Clark.
He married Jean Zulauf Nov. 17, 1940, in Bowling Green, Mo., and
she survives, as does his mother of Arenzville, a son, Landis of Howell,
N.J., two daughters, Mrs. Tris (Deborah) Schnepper of Rochester, Mrs.
James (Rebecca) Decker of Westmont, two brothers, Robert and John, both
of Arenzville, two sisters, Mrs. Nelson (Ruby) Willingham of Paris,
[Mo.], and Mrs. Vince (Mary Lou) Penza of Jacksonville and six
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father.
He was a 1940 graduate of Arenzville High School and was employed
by the Zulauf Meat Market in Arenzville until WWII when he served in the
South Pacific. He later farmed in Cass County and was employed by the
State of Illinois, Department of Agriculture. He was a member of the
Elks Club of Beardstown, American Legion Post 604 and the United
Methodist Church of Arenzville.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church
in Arenzville with burial in Arenzville East Cemetery. Visitation after
4 p.m. Friday, with family to meet friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at
the Sager-Northcutt Funeral Home in Beardstown. Memorials are suggested
to the United Methodist Church or the heart fund.
