Dudley Clawson
Funeral services for Dudley Conn Clawson, 39, of Aledo, were
held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Reiser-Trimble Funeral Home, Aledo, with
the Rev. C. M. Meyer, retired pastor of St. Catherine's Catholic Church
officiating. Burial was in the Aledo Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established for his children.
Mr. Clawson died Friday morning, Jan. 6, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 3, 1945 in Davenport, IA, the son of Fred
Courtney and Dorothy Lucille McCreight Clawson.
He married Patricia Marie Trial Aug. 1, 1970 in Aledo.
He was employed as a salesman for the last 15 years with the Mer-Roc
FS, Inc. He had previously been associated with his father as a real
estate agent with the Clawson Realty Co., Aledo, and was presently
affiliated with Illini Realty, Aledo.
He was a 1973 graduate of Aledo High School and attended Iowa
Weslyan College. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church,
Aledo; a charter member and past president of the Mercer Moonriders
Snowmobile Club; a member of VFW Post 1571, Aledo; and a former member
of the Aledo Jaycees.
He was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict.
He is survived by his wife; his mother, Mrs. Dorothy Clawson,
Aledo; three sons, Darrin, Jason, and Kevin, all at home; and a brother,
Charles A. Clawson, Aledo; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Father.
