Conway, 84, of Aledo died at 6:55 yesterday morning in Moline Lutheran Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 10 Monday morning at St. Catherine's
Roman Catholic Church, Aledo, with her nephew, the Most Rev. William
Keeler, auxiliary bishop of Harrisburg, Pa., officiating.
Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Preemption.
Friends may call at the Jinks Funeral Home, Aledo, this afternoon
and evening, where a rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
Miss Conway was born March 17, 1898, near Perryton, a daughter of
Patrick and Julia Kennedy Conway. She was a graduate of Reynolds High
School and Villa de Chantal Academy, Rock Island. She was a life
resident of Mercer County and moved to Aledo in 1978.
She was a member of St. Catherine's Roman Catholic Church and its
Altar and Rosary Society.
She is survived by two brothers, Vincent Conway of Aledo and
William I. Conway of Oak Park; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Keeler of
Washington D.C., and Miss Philomena Conway of Oak Park.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
