Henry Cooper

Cooper - On Friday, Dec. 6, 1895, at his home in Prescott, Iowa, Henry Cooper, aged 78 years.
Deceased was a well known citizen in Corning, having resided here for a number of years. He came to Iowa in 1854 and settled in Appaloosa county. In 1874 he removed to Corning, where he resided until 1884, when he removed to Prescott, in which place he abode until his demise. He was a man of character and a friend to almost everyone. Corning people regret very much to hear of his demise, though he had reached a ripe old age. James Cooper, of this city, is a son of deceased. The funeral was conducted Sunday by Rev. Lovelace, of the Prescott Baptist church, and the remains laid to rest in south cemetery, near this city.
