Margaret J. Crandall
Margaret Jean Crandall, 78, of Omaha, Neb., formerly of
Creston, died Oct. 4, 2000, in Omaha.
The body was cremated and services will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Crandall was born July 8, 1922, in Creston to E. F. and
Marguerite (Mack) McEniry. She graduated from Creston High School in
1940. On Aug. 8, 1949, she married William Crandall in Creston. She
taught school in Creston and Afton for many years. She lived in Creston
and Afton before moving to Omaha, Neb. She was a member of St. Edwards
Catholic Church in Afton.
Survivors include four children, Ann Crandall of Winston-Salem,
N.C., Bradford (wife Karen) Crandall of Beloit, Wis., Susan Crandall of
Omaha, Neb., and Jeffrey (wife Linda) Crandall of Arkansas; two sisters,
Agnes McCann of Creston and Mary Adams of Portland, Ore.; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Josephine Ann Shannon.
