Lillie Crummy
Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Minnie Crummy, 72, of
Matherville, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Crummy and McKitrick
Funeral Home, Viola. The Rev. Richard Slavish, pastor of St. Theresa's
Roman Catholic Church, Alexis, officiated. Burial was in St. Joseph's
Cemetery, rural Matherville.
Memorials were made to the Pathway Hospice.
Mrs. Crummy died Saturday morning, March 17, 1984, at Pathway
Hospice, Moline Lutheran Hospital.
Lillie Jepp was born Nov. 20, 1911, in Centerville, SD, a
daughter of John and Ann Imbrock Jepp. She was reared and received her
education in Centerville.
On Nov. 23, 1938, she married Philip Crummy in Davenport.
She was a member of St. Theresa's Church.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Delmar of Matherville; a
granddaughter; five sisters, Mrs. Hennreitta Fisher, Mrs. Emma Tassler,
Mrs. Louise Tassler, all of Clear Lake, SD, and Mrs. Marie Moore and
Mrs. Ida Cramere, both of Lennox, SD; and three brothers, George Jepp of
Rapids City, SD, and Edward and Lewis Jepp, both of Sioux Falls, SD.
