Philip Crummy, 76, Matherville, died Thursday, June 25, 1987
at Lutheran Hospital, Moline.
Services were Monday at Jinks Funeral Home, Viola. Burial was in St.
Joseph's Cemetery, rural Matherville.
Mr. Crummy was born July 30, 1910 in Gilchrist, IL to Philip and
Marie Hergert Crummy. He was educated in the Viola schools and was a
life-long resident of Mercer County.
He married Lillian Jepp Nov. 23, 1938 in Davenport. She died in 1983.
He retired as a truck driver after 20 years with Collison's Quarry.
He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Matherville.
Survivors include a son, Delmar, and granddaughter, Ora Lillie
Crummy, both of Matherville; and a brother, Kenneth, Davenport, Iowa.
