Henry Francis Curry

Henry Francis Curry, son of Mary and Frank Curry, was born September 21, 1887, near Carbon and died on Saturday, April 23, 1955, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help hospital, in Falls City, Nebr. Mr. and Mrs. Curry were visiting their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Miller, when Mr. Curry suffered a heart attack.
His early years were spent on the family farm near Carbon, where he attended a near-by country school.
On September 3, 1913, he was married to Regina White of Omaha at St. Timothy's church, Reno, by Father P. J Casey. To this union was born one daughter, Mary Curry Miller of Falls City, Nebr.

Although Mr. Curry was a quiet, retiring man, unobtrusive in manner, he became well-known throughout Adams county, and respected by all his acquaintances. Miller, Jr., of Falls City, Nebr.; four -sisters, Mrs. Mae Quinn and Mrs. Belle Mack of Corning, Mrs. Lula Casey of Griswold, and Mrs. Katie Houck of Boring, Ore.; three brothers, Leo and John of Corning; and Earl of Pasadena, Calif. Two brothers preceded him in death, Joe of Omaha and James, who died in infancy.
Funeral services were held from St. Patrick's church, Corning at 10 o'clock Monday morning, with Father M. J. Powers celebrating the Requiem High Mass, which was sung by the choir accompanied by Mrs. John Lcnz, organist. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery. Pall bearers were Robert Mack, Tom Quinn, Tom White, John Curry, Jr., Bill Casey and Harold White. Honorary pall bearers were Art Marlatt, Ed Larson, Mike Jennings, Artie Keefe, Lonnic Ruben and Tom Hogan.
