Heart Attack And Pneumonia Cause Death
Charles Davidson, Glidden. Victim Of Two Ailments
Glidden (Special) Charles Davidson, 54, died at 5:15 o'clock
last evening at St. Anthony hospital after an illness of several weeks.
He had been suffering from heart trouble and pneumonia setting in
recently. He was taken to the hospital Tuesday morning.
The body was taken to the Huffman Funeral home in Scranton, where
it will remain until the arrival of his mother, Mrs. Rufus Davidson of
Los Angeles, who will complete the funeral arrangements.
Born in Scranton
Mr. Davidson was the son of Rufus and Josephine Davidson and was
born in Scranton, Dec. 20, 1881. He grew to manhood at that place and on
March 13, 1912, married Miss Edna Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Brown.
After their marriage they made their home in Scranton. They move
to Los Angeles, Calif. several years ago where they remained for three
years. They had been Glidden residents for the past four years.
He is survived by: His wife, five children, Mrs. Cleo Moore
(Beulah), Virgil, Elby, Viola and Goldie, all of Glidden; his parents
who live in Los Angeles; two brothers, George and Ross Davidson, and one
sister, Mrs. Nora Chase, all of Los Angeles.
