Mrs. Ray (Thelma) Eich
Halbur - Mrs. Ray (Thelma F.) Eich, 55, of Halbur died
Thursday. July 7, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Omaha, Neb.
Friends and relatives may call at the Twit Funeral Home in
Carroll after 2:30 p.m. Sunday. The St. Augustine's Ladies' Guild will
recite, a rosary at 3 p.m. Sunday. Another rosary will be at 8 p.m. Sunday night.
Mass of the Resurrection will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at St.
Augustine's Church, Halbur, with the Rev. Leo Riesberg officiating.
Interment will follow at the St. Augustine parish cemetery.
Mrs. Eich was born on October 19, 1921 in Carroll to Elmer and
Rose (Klocke) Throop. She was married to Ray Eich on July 2, 1947 at SS.
Peter and Paul Church in Carroll with the Rev. Lambert Schenkelberg officiating.
Mrs. Eich graduated from St. Angela's Academy in Carroll and was
a member of the St. Augustine's parish Ladies' Guild. She had made her
home in Halbur for the past 24 years.
Surviving with her husband Ray of Halbur are: two daughters, Mrs.
Ron (Susan) March of Miami, Fla., and Mrs. John (Sharon) Beckman of
Council Bluffs; three sons, Steven and Charles of Gretna, Neb., and
Kevin at home; her father, Elmer Throop of Carroll; a sister, Mrs. Elvin
(Dorothy) Wiebers of Carroll, and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
