| Adrienna Eichelkraut
Adrienna Eichelkraut, 94, formerly of Rock Island, died
Monday, Nov. 5, 2007, at Oak Glen Home, Coal Valley.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hodgson
Funeral Home, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of
services Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Coal Valley
Township Cemetery, Coal Valley. Memorials may be made to Calvary Church
of the Quad Cities, Moline.
Adrienna was born May 13, 1913, in Brussels, Belgium, the
daughter of Julius and Alida Von De Somple Smessaert. She married Harold
Fuller. She later married Herman Eichelkraut. He preceded her in death in 1955.
Adrienna worked at the Rock Island Arsenal for three years,
Farmall in Rock Island for eight years, and retired after working eight
years as an elevator operator at the Rock Island County Courthouse.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Leroy and Carolyn
Fuller, Coal Valley; granddaughter, Joleen Erickson, Tampa, Fla.; four
great-grandchildren; brother, Henry Smessaert, Aledo; nieces and
nephews, Harold Ott, Richard Smessaert, Margaret Smessaert, Dennis,
Dean, and Teresa Ash; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son;
grandson, Lonnie Fuller; and sisters, Marie and Margaret.
