Mrs. Pearl Ewoldt
Westside - Mrs. Pearl Ewoldt, 60, of Westside, died Saturday,
June 25, at St. Anthony Regional Hospital in Carroll.
She was for many years employed by Denny's Restaurant in Westside
and since 1978 had worked at New Hope Village in Carroll.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, at
Zion Lutheran church in Arcadia with the Rev. L. W. Sawhill officiating.
Burial will be in the Arcadia cemetery.
Friends may call after 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Huebner Funeral
Home in Denison.
Mrs. Ewoldt is survived by her husband, Truman, Westside; three
sons: Robert, Gray; Randy and Steve, both of Westside; two daughters:
Mrs. Alvin (Joan) Reinert and Connie Ewoldt, both of Carroll|, a
brother, George Isaacs, Denison, and two sisters: Mrs. Murlin (Irene,)
Jurgensen, Denison, and Mrs. Clifford (Bernice) Horning, Oak Harbor,
Wash., and a grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Ewoldt was born April 12, 1923, in Carroll County near
Westside, a daughter of George and Emma Noelck Isaacs. She graduated
from Westside High School in 1941. On June 17, 1942, she was married to
Truman Ewoldt in Omaha. They farmed south of Westside. She was a member
of the American Legion Auxiliary and Zion Lutheran church at Arcadia.
