Mrs. Wendelin (Clara) Feilmeier
Mrs. Wendelin (Clara) Feilmeier, 86, of 209 East Second
street, died Tuesday, January 10, at St. Anthony Regional Hospital.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Friday,
January 13, at Holy Spirit church with the Rev. Roger Austustine, V.F.,
as celebrant. Grandchildren will be gift-bearers: Bev Wagner, Eileen
Feilmeier and Donna Lammers and mass-servers: Tom, Jeff and J.D.
Feilmeier. Burial will be in Sacred Heart parish cemetery at Templeton.
Serving as casketbearers will be Leonard Feilmeier Jr., Kenneth and Tony
Muhlbauer, John, Mark and Mike Feilmeier.
Visitation at the Twit Funeral Home in Carroll will be after 2:30
p.m. Thursday. Rosaries will be recited at the funeral home at 3 by the
Legion of Mary and 8 p.m. and a scriptural prayer service will be
conducted at 8:45 p.m. Thursday.
Mrs. Feilmeier is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Anthony
(Laura) Muhlbauer, Arcadia; Mrs. Edwin (Marie) Lammers, St. Louis, Mo.,
and Mrs. Jim (Rita) Dentlinger, Glidden; five sons: Alfred, Westside;
Earl, Eldora; Leonard, Glidden; Bernard and Wendell Jr., Carroll, and 38
grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband on May 11,
1979; son Rudolph on December 1, 1970; son Ed and daughter Mary in
infancy; 10 brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Feilmeier was born August 21, 1897, at Dedham, a daughter of
Henry and Wilhelmina Schornagel Willenborg. She received her education
at Sacred Heart school in Templeton. On May 20, 1919, she was married to
Wendelin T. Feilmeier at Sacred Heart church in Templeton by the Rev.
Msgr. F. H. Huessman. After their marriage, they farmed in the Templeton
area. She was a member of Holy Spirit parish, the Women's Guild and the
Thursday Card Club.
