Rudolph Feilmeier Killed in Missouri
Rudolph Frank Feilmeier, 50, of 213 North Adams Street,
Carroll, was killed Tuesday at Fairfax, Mo., while working for a road
construction firm.
According to word received by relatives, Mr. Feilmeier was
greasing a piece of equipment when an object 15 feet above fell on him.
He died of severe head injuries. The accident occurred about 10 a.m.
Requiem mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Spirit
Church in Carroll, with interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Templeton.
Maurice Dunn Post No. 7, American Legion, of Carroll, will form an honor
guard, Friends may call at the Twit Funeral Home in Carroll after 7 p.m.
Wednesday. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday and at 3, 8
and 8:45 p.m. Thursday. The casket will remain closed.
Mr. Feilmeier, son of Wendelin and Clara Willenborg Feilmeier,
was born at Templeton March 27, 1920. He received his education at
Sacred Heart Church, Templeton, and served in the Korean War. He was a
member of Holy Spirit Church and the American Legion at Carroll.
Surviving are his parents, of Carroll, and the following sisters
and brothers: Mrs. Anthony (Laura) Muhlbauer of Arcadia; Mrs. Ed (Marie)
Lammers, Florissant, Mo.; Mrs. Jim (Rita) Dentlinger and Leonard
Feilmeier, Glidden; Alfred Feilmeier, Westside; Earl Feilmeier, Burt;
Bernard and Wendel Feilmeier Jr., Carroll.
A brother, Edwin, and a sister, Margaret, preceded him in death.
