Wendelin T. Feilmeier, Sr.

  Mass of the Christian Burial was conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Holy Spirit Church for Wendelin T. Feilmeier, Sr., 86, who died Friday at St. Anthony Nursing Home here.
  Officiating was the Rev. Roger Augustine, pastor; Carol Muhlbauer was lector; gift bearers were Tommy, Mark and Leonard Feilmeier, Jr. Pallbearers were Tony Muhlbauer, Jr., Bob Dentlinger, Ted, Mike and Earl Feilmeier, Jr., and Ron Bessie. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Templeton, under direction of the Twit Funeral Home of Carroll.
  Survivors are his wife, Clara; three daughters: Mrs. Anthony (Laura) Muhlbauer, Halbur; Mrs. Edwin (Marie) Lammers, Florissant, Mo., and Mrs. Jim (Rita) Dentlinger, Glidden; five sons: Alfred, Westside; Leonard, Glidden; Wendelin, Jr., Carroll; Earl, Eldora and Bernard, Carroll; 38 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons: Rudolph and Edwin; a daughter, Mary; two sisters; Mrs. Frank (Crescentia) Irlbeck and Mrs. Joe (Anna) Irlmeier; three brothers: Frank, Louis and Joe.
  Mr. Feilmeier was a retired farmer who farmed a mile and a quarter north of Roselle for many years. He was born Feb. 2, 1893 at Templeton, a son of Frank and Crescentia Westermeier Feilmeier. He was married May 20, 1919 to Clara Willenborg at Sacred Heart Church, Templeton, by the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Heussman. He received his education at St. Joseph's School, Dedham. He was a member of Holy Spirit Church and the Holy Name Society.
