Anna Ferneding
Templeton - Anna Ferneding, 85, of Templeton died at 1 p.m.
Sunday March 5, at Manning General Hospital, Manning, where she had been
a patient for three months.
Requiem mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Sacred
Heart Church, Templeton, by the Rt. Rev. Msgr. A. W. Behrens. Interment
will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Monday at
the Ohde Funeral Home in Manning, where the rosary will be recited at
7:30 p.m. Monday and by the Catholic Daughters of America at 7:30 p.m.
Tuesday. There will be a Bible service at 8:15 both Monday and Tuesday evenings.
Miss Ferneding was born June 21, 1886, in Washington township,
Carroll County, a daughter of Henry and Mary Olberding Ferneding. She
received her education at Sacred Heart School here and had lived in town
since 1948. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church; Court Sacred Heart
No. 454, Catholic Daughters of America; and of the Confraternity and
Guild of the parish.
She is survived by one brother, John Ferneding, of Templeton,
with whom she made her home.
Preceding her in death were a sister, Mrs. Catherine Kettmann;
brothers Joe, Henry and Frank Ferneding; and two other brothers and a
sister in infancy
