Ursula Flynn
The funeral of Mrs. Flynn will be held at ten o'clock tomorrow
morning at the St. James Catholic church.
Mrs. Ursula Flynn, wife of William Francis Flynn, died yesterday
afternoon at 3:50 at her home in cedar township, four miles north of
West Chester, after a brief illness. The cause of death was uracmic
poising, following the birth of a child Monday, which lived only a short
time. Mrs. Flynn, who had been married but three years, leave a husband
and one daughter, two years of age, the whom the bereavement comes with
crushing force. The sorrowing husband and motherless child have the
sympathy of a large circle of friends who are doing all that
neighborliness will accomplish in this sad hour. Mrs. Flynn was a
popular young woman, not only in her home community, but in Washington,
for she lived here a short time before her marriage. She was a member of
the Catholic church and a fine example of young womanhood.
Plans for the funeral are delayed until word is received from
relatives who live in Canada. If they can attend the services it will
probably be held Saturday.
Mrs. Flynn was born in this county, July 15, 1890, and was a
daughter of George Saur and Elizabeth Schipfer Saur. She was married at
Richmond, February 10, 1914. She leaves to mourn besides her husband,
one daughter, Arlys Rose Flynn; her parents, who live in Canada; and the
following brothers and sisters: Adolph Saur, Mrs. Frank Heatch, Miss
Anna Saur and Mrs. Archie Duffield of Canada; Mrs. A. W. Kern and Miss
Clara Saur of Kalona.
