Mary Margaret Conway
Mary Margaret Conway, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. Conway was
born in Nodaway, Iowa, January 20, 1872 and passed away after an
extended illness at her home here March 12, 1930 at the age of 58 years,
1 month and 22 days.
She was united in marriage to Edward J. Ford at St. Patrick's
church in Corning on July 30, 1903. At that time Mr. and Mrs. Ford
established their home at Iveyville, where they remained until six years
ago, when they move to Nodaway where they have since resided.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning from the Catholic
church in Corning by Rev. Father M. J. Powers, the pastor. Burial was in
Calvary cemetery.
Relatives from out of town who were in attendance at the funeral
are: Walter Larson and daughter, Mary and Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Larson of
Omaha, Edward Larson of Corning, Mrs. Mary Donnelly of Conception,
Missouri, Mrs. Susie Gentle of St. Paul Minnesota, Tom Ford and wife and
son, Leo and wife of Lenox, J. P. and Joe Ford of Creston and Mrs.
Kathryn Cronin of Chicago.
