Marvin E. Frazier

  Glidden - Marvin Earl Frazier, 61, of Glidden died after a short illness Friday, April 4, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Des Moines.
  Services were held at 10 a. m. Monday at the Dahn-Woodhouse Funeral Home here, with the Rev. H. Wallace Kinzler officiating. Mrs. Donald Hansen was organist.
  Pallbearers were Reynold Lappe, Marlyn Rushton, Corliss Leonard, Harry Bushman, Larry Frazier and Bruce Davidson. Burial was in Westlawn Cemetery, with military rites by Merle Hay Post, American Legion.
  Mr. Frazier, a World War II veteran, was an employee of Farmers Foods, Inc., at Glidden for the last nine years. He was born in Grant County, S.D., Feb. 26, 1914, a son of Walter Clark and Nancy String Frazier. He lived at Scranton until his marriage to Goldie Davidson at Glidden Dec. 4, 1946. They have made their home here since then.
  Surviving with his wife are three children, Mrs. Donald (Linda) Lappe of Atlantic, Mrs. Harold (Peggy) Madsen of Colo. and Robert, at home; his mother, Mrs. Nancy Frazier of Scranton; and seven sisters, Mrs. Henry (Iva) Busker of Hebron. Ind., Mrs. Vernon (Beulah) Stevens and Mrs. Maurice (Lorraine) Dudley of Scranton, Florence Frazier of Jefferson, Mrs. Kenneth (Fern) Stevens of Luverne, Minn., Mrs. LeRoy (Myrtle) Winker of Lanesboro, and Mrs. Raymond (Nancy) Toms of Glidden.
  Two brothers, two sisters and a son-in-law preceded Mr. Frazier in death.
