Grace Fritch Dies Tuesday
Will Hold Final Rites at St. Johns Catholic Church Friday Morning
Mrs. Grace Fritch of Galesburg died in St. Mary's hospital,
Galesburg, Tuesday, April 6, 1943, at 11 a.m. She had been in the
hospital the past month, underwent two operations while there and then
developed pneumonia.
Mrs. Fritch was the daughter of Maurice Horan of Reynolds and
married Harvey J. Fritch, Oct. 6, 1914, who died July 10, 1919.
Survivors
She is survived by her father, Maurice Horan, a brother Bert
Horan and a sister, Sister Mary Corona; two daughters, Mrs. James
Hanrahan and Mrs. Martin Hanrahan of Galesburg and a son, Leo Fritch of Reynolds.
Funeral services will be held at St. John's Catholic church, Friday
morning, April 9, 1943 at 10 o'clock.
Burial will be in the Viola Catholic cemetery.

Aledo-Mrs. Grace Fritch of Galesburg former resident of Viola
and Preemption, died yesterday in St. Mary's hospital, Galesburg, where
she had been a patient several weeks following an operation. Pneumonia
developed recently and with complications was the cause of death.
Mrs. Fritch was the former Miss Grace Horan, daughter of Maurice
C. and the late Mrs. Horan of south of Reynolds where she was born. She
was married to Harvey Fritch of Viola, who died more than 20 years ago.
She was of Catholic faith.
Surviving are a son, Leo, of south of Reynolds; two daughters,
Mrs. James Hanrahan and Mrs. Martin Hanrahan, both of Galesburg; her
father; a brother, B. W. Horan of south of Reynolds; a sister, Sister
Mary Corona, of Sacred Heart convent, Davenport, and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 o'clock Friday morning in St. John's
Catholic church, Viola. The Rev. John T. Shields will officiate and
burial will be in Viola Catholic cemetery. The body was taken to the M.
C. Horan home this afternoon.
