Eva Grenko, 82, of 2 Friederichs Court, Davenport, formerly of
Rock Island, died Thursday, July 20, 2000, at the home of her daughter.
Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church,
Rock Island. Burial is in Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island.
Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Wheelan Funeral Home, Rock
Island, with a rosary to be recited at 6 p.m. Memorials may be made to
the church.
She was born Dec. 7, 1917, in Centerville, Iowa, the daughter of
Joseph and Eva Vicevich Jurich. She married Edward R. Grenko Nov. 10,
1945, in Davenport. He died Jan. 5, 1991.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Darren
Schroeder, Davenport; grandsons (and spouse), Shane (Pamela) Schroeder
and Shannon, Davenport; great-grandsons, Christian, Davenport, and Alec,
of Florida; and sisters, Mary Etzel, Rock Island, and Ruby Otten, Chicago.
