Evelyn M. Harney, 84, Aledo, died Tuesday, Sept. 1, 1998, at Genesis
Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport.
Graveside services are 10 a.m. Thursday at Aledo Cemetery. The
Rev. Gregory Plunkett, St. Catherine's Catholic Church, Aledo, will officiate.
There is no visitation. Reiser-Trimble Funeral Home, Aledo, is in
charge of arrangements.
The former Evelyn Haney was born Jan. 21, 1914, in Monmouth,
Ill., the daughter of Thomas and Margaret Ranney Haney. She married
Russell S. Harney Nov. 23, 1935, in Keithsburg, Ill. He died Nov. 30, 1979.
She was a member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church, Aledo.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Chauncey Peters of Oquawka,
Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.
