Dorothy Marie McKeag Headden
Dorothy left this life peacefully on June 11, 2007 at St.
Alphonsus Hospital.
She was born on June 22, 1929, in Hemmingford, Neb. to proud
parents Allen and Lola (Loyolla) McKeag.
She graduated from Hemmingford High School and married her
sweetheart, Elmer Headden, on Dec. 23, 1947.
Dorothy supported her husband throughout college and gave birth
to two sons, Larry and Doug, during Elmer's college years.
They spent many years in Nebraska while Elmer pursued his teaching
career before moving to Boise in 1962.
She was the ultimate mother; raising her sons and ensuring they
had the benefits that she did not.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her mother and father.
She leave behind two brothers; Marion (Jennie) McKeag,
Williamsburg, Va. And Charles McKeag, Paramount, Calif. She also leave
behind two very grateful sons; Larry (Barbara) of Klamath Falls, Ore.
And Doug (Stanna) of Salt Lake City, Utah. She also leaves behind a
loving and attentive husband of 60 years, Elmer, who will miss her deeply.
Friends may pay their respects at the Cloverdale Funeral Home Saturday,
June 16, 2007 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, Dorothy would be honored by a donation to the
Idaho Humane Society. (2007)
Deaths
Dorothy Headden, 77, Boise, died Monday. Services will be 1:30 p.m.
Saturday at Terrace Lawns Memorial Garden, Meridian. Services by
Cloverdale Funeral Home, Boise.
