Died
Hein. - Mrs. Lucy Hein, of heart trouble, at her late home,
this city on Tuesday, March 26th, 1895, aged 72 years, 9 months and 15
days. Funeral transpired today from the Catholic Church conducted by
Rev. Father P. J. Sheridan.
Mrs. Hein had been sick for nearly a year. She and her husband, John
Hein were born in Germany and emigrated to America, locating in
Michigan. Later they removed to Afton and then to Corning where they
have resided 26 years.
To Mr. and Mrs. Hein were born eleven children, nine of whom are
still living; three girls and six boys. The interment was made in the
south cemetery. We extend condolence to the sorrowing relatives.
