| Doris A. Henkenius
Doris Ann Henkenius, 37, of Carroll died at 4 a.m. Tuesday,
Feb. 24, at St. Anthony Hospital following a brief illness. She was a
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clem H. Henkenius, with whom she lived at 419
East Seventh Street.
Requiem mass will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Church at 9:30
a.m. Thursday. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery at Grand
Junction. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Twit Funeral
Home, where the rosary will be recited at 8 and 8:45 p.m. Tuesday and at
3, 8 and 8:45 p.m. Wednesday.
Miss Henkenius, whose mother is the former Katherine Reiff, was
born March 14, 1932, in Carroll County, living in the Arcadia area until
moving to Sac County. She received her education at Early, and lived at
Paton for 15 years before moving to Carroll last June. She was employed
here at the Perry Nursing Home. She was a member of Holy Spirit Church.
Surviving besides her parents are a sister, Mrs. Joe (Darlene)
Rosenhauer of Boone; a brother, Robert Henkenius of Calumet, Mich.; a
nephew and four nieces.
