Michael Hogan

  Michael Hogan, 54, first public administrator of Judith Basin County, Mont., passed away Sunday, Dec. 21, in the Great Falls Hospital, after an illness of three years. Funeral services were held in St. Ann's Cathedral Wednesday morning 9 o'clock, with requiem Mass. Burial was in the family plot in Lewistown. Mr. Hogan resided at 1501 5th Ave. N, in Great Falls. He was born in Dubuque, Iowa, January 14th, 1868. After moving to Montana in 1906, first living in Moore, and in 1907 he moved and homesteaded near Moccasin. He resided there until 1927, when he sold his ranch and moved to Great Falls to make his home.
  The first public administrator of Judith Basin County, he held that office for six years.
  Hogan is survived by his widow, Mary, Great Falls; three daughters, Mrs. Esther Gordon, Detroit and Mrs. Marguerite (Pat) Harris and Mrs. Angela Rickert, both of Great Falls, two sons, James, Bozeman, and John, Kennewick, Wash.; three sisters, Sister Mary Clotilda, Bettendorf, Ia.; Mrs. Margaret Woodmansee, Idaho Falls, Ida., and Mrs. Kate Sisson, Lewistown; two brothers, Thomas and John, both of Corning, Ia.; six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
