Debra Ann Holdren
MAXWELL

Debra Ann Holdren, 56, of Maxwell died Thursday, May 22, 2008, at Story County Medical Center in Nevada.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, at St. Mary Church in Elkhart with Father Bob Harris officiating.

Visitation and a wake were held Monday at Bacon Funeral Home in Maxwell.

A daughter of Edgar and Alita (Reinhart) Snyder, she was born August 22, 1951, at Carroll, graduated from St. Bernard High School at Breda in 1969 and earned a bachelor's degree in Spanish at the University of Iowa in 1973.

She and Randy Holdren were married June 19, 1976, at Breda.

Mrs. Holdren was a homemaker, was a bank clerk for Bankers Trust and worked for Donnelley Marketing. She retired in 2006.

She was a member of St. Mary Parish and Rosary Society, belonged to the Collins/Maxwell Booster Club and enjoyed reading and doing Jumbles.

Survivors include her husband, Randy, of Maxwell; two sons: Christopher Holdren serving in the Coast Guard and Michael Holdren of Pleasant Hill; a daughter, Becca Holdren, of Maxwell; her parents, Edgar and Alita Snyder, of Breda; five brothers and their wives: Joe and Marilyn Snyder of Lawrence, Kan., Ron and Pat Snyder of Oakland, Calif., Jim and Nancy Snyder of Wichita, Kan., Tim and Kathi Snyder of Breda and Marty and Carol Snyder of Breda; and a sister, Ann Polking, and her husband, Russ, of Newton.
