| Mrs. George S. Hollinrake (Catherine)   The death of
        Mrs. George S. Hollinrake occurred last Saturday morning at 3 o'clock,
        after an illness of a few days of the flu which developed into pneumonia
        Friday afternoon. The news of the death of this highly esteemed woman
        was received with sincere sorrow by a large circle of friends who join
        with the bereaved family in mourning her loss. She was possessed of a
        genial disposition, a kindly and benevolent character and found her
        life's happiness in her religion, her family and her home. 
          Mrs. Hollinrake was born in Davenport, Ia., the daughter of Mr.
        and Mrs. Francis Wheelan, on Feb. 22, 1861. She received her education
        in the Davenport schools. On Jan. 12, 1898, she was united in marriage
        to George S. Hollinrake of Keithsburg, who survives. This union was
        blessed with five children, Miss Helen Hollinrake of Los Angeles,
        Calif.; James Hollinkrake, on a farm near Keithsburg; Miss Margaret and
        Miss Bertha at home. One son, George, Jr., passed away in 1930. She also
        leaves a sister, Miss Elizabeth Wheelan of Los Angeles, Calif., one
        brother James Wheelan, of St. Paul, Minn., two grandsons, Gerald and
        Donald Hollinrake. Her husband, George S. Hollinrake, who survives, is
        very poorly at this writing. 
          Mrs. Hollinrake was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church of
        Keithsburg, where the funeral service took place on Monday morning at 10
        o'clock with the pastor, Rev. N. Hunold singing the Requiem high mass.
        Burial was in St. Mary's Catholic cemetery. The pallbearers were Thomas
        and Arthur O'Malley, Roy Calliahan, Philip McEvoy, Archie McKay, an
        William Caliahan. 
          The members of the Altar Society of which she was a member and a
        large circle of friends and relatives were present to pay their last
        tribute to the most highly respected woman. 
          The out-of-town relatives and friends present at the funeral were

        Island; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wheelan and daughters Bertha and Margaret,
        Mr. and Mrs. John Oaks, Mrs. Mayme Laird, and Mr. and Mrs. James Hottle,
        Jr., of Monmouth; Mr. and Mrs. Mike Mack of Preemption; William Ranney
        and daughters Mae and Bernice and Mr. and Mrs. Everett Frederickson of
        Belmont; Mrs. Catherine Sterling and daughter Naomi and son George and
        Edward Schoreder of Davenport, Ia.; Mrs. Frank Otto, Miss Margaret
        Maloney, Miss Catherine Glanz, Miss Josephine Buban, Mrs. Robert
        Moorhead and Mrs. William Moorhead of Aledo; Miss Ollie Stanforth of
        Matherville and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ross of Monmouth and Mrs. Margaret
        Chapin of Burlington.
