George Hollinrake, Jr.
George Hollinrake, Jr., youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. George
Hollinrake, passed away Monday afternoon after an illness of a fewweeks.
George Hollinrake, Jr., was born in Keithsburg Dec. 20, 1904, and lived
here his entire life. He had been in poor health for the past few
months, but his death was very sudden and a shock to his family and friends.
Besides his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Hollinrake, he leaves
three sisters: Miss Margaret of this city, Miss Helen Hollinrake of Los
Angeles, Calif., and Miss Bertha who is a registered nurse in the Mercy
hospital, Davenport. One brother, James Hollinrake of this city.
The funeral was held this morning from St. Mary's Catholic church
at 9 o'clock with Rev. Thomas S. Brunnick saying Mass. Burial took place
in St. Mary's Catholic cemetery in the family lot.
