Agnes Hudson
Agnes M. Hudson, 85, of Aledo, died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007, at
the Mercer County Hospital in Aledo.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Fippinger funeral Home in
Aledo. Burial is in the Aledo Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. today
at the funeral home, where a memorial fund will be established. Online

She was born Sept. 9, 1921, in Viola, a daughter of Arthur and
Viva Longley Ayers. She was raised by her mother and stepfather, Cecil
Semones, and attended Viola schools. She was united in marriage to Ralph
F. Hudson in Keokuk, Iowa. He died in 1987.
Agnes was a homemaker and was owner-operator of the Rasty's
Recreation in Aledo, now known as Scooters. She enjoyed bowling,
fishing, going to the "boats" and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Survivors (and spouses) include two daughters, Pat Meminger (John
Guthrie), Aledo, Sharon (Parker) Andress, Joy; seven grandchildren, Gail
Rush, Bruce Meminger, Dee Andress, all of Aledo, Shelley Reiserer,
Trophy Club, Texas, Marcie Biddle, Jenny Russell, Joy, Troy Andress,
Fort Wayne, Ind.; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren;
one sister, Frances Tary, Aledo; and one sister-in-law, Betty Ayers,
Coyne Center. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one
great-grandson, Evan Biddle; a son-in-law, Wayne Meminger; and two
brothers, David and John Ayers.
