Rita Jackson
Funeral services for Mrs. Rita C. Jackson, 34, of Aledo, who
died yesterday at Franciscan Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m.
Wednesday at St. Catherine's Roman Catholic Church, Aledo. The Rev. Leo
McKanna, pastor, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Purcell, chaplain
at Franciscan Medical Center. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery,
Preemption Township.
Visitation is after noon today at the Jinks Funeral Home, Aledo,
where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Memorials for Seventh Floor
South of Franciscan Medical Center may be left at the funeral home.
The former Rita Boyles was born Feb 1, 1949, in Rock Island, a
daughter of Paul J. and Louise Murry Boyles. She graduated from Aledo
High School, attended Western Illinois University, Macomb, and the
Illinois Banker's Association School at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
She was married to Darrel Jackson May 31, 1969, in Aledo. She was
a cashier and operations officer at the Andalusia Community Bank.
She was a member of St. Catherine's Roman Catholic Church, Aledo;
secretary of the Quad-City Chapter, American Institute of Banking and
was active in the Bankers Administrative Institute.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Jennifer
and Laura both at home; her parents of rural Reynolds; a sister, Mrs.
Cathee Seivers of Rock Island; and two brothers, Paul Boyles, Jr. of
Rock Island and Lawrence Boyles of Aledo.
