Obituary

  Lillian M. Joyner, 87, of Matherville, died Thursday, Aug. 20, 1987 at Georgetown Manor Nursing Home, Aledo. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Jinks Funeral Home, Viola. Rev. Richard Slavish of St. Theresa's Church, Alexis, officiated and burial was in the Farlow Grove Cemetery, Viola.
  Memorials may be made to the family and left at the funeral home.
  She was born Feb. 27, 1900 in Peoria, IL a daughter of Henry and Jennie O'Neil Barnewolt.
  She married John W. Joyner, April 29, 1931 in Crown Point, IN.
  She was a homemaker.
  Surviving are her husband and a brother, Russell Barnewolt of Hesperia, CA.
