Lucy Junchen, 79, of Sherrard died Wednesday, Aug.12, 1987 at her home.
Graveside services were held at 1:30 p.m., Friday at the
Greenmound Cemetery, Keithsburg.
Elder Wayne Pleasants of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Aledo,
officiated. Jinks Funeral Home, Aledo was in charge of arrangements.
She was born July 19, 1908 in Henderson County, IL a daughter of
Charles and Tamma Shaley Ditto. She graduated from the former Keithsburg
High School in 1925 and attended the Western State Teacher's College,
Macomb. She married Lawrence Junchen on June 20, 1943 in Scranton, WI.
She had been a beauty operator before her marriage and was a
school teacher.
She was a member of the Mary Burns Chapter, OES, Keithsburg.
Survivors include her husband; a son, David of Pasadena, CA; two
nieces and a nephew.
