James Mack Keleher, 76, of Orion, died Saturday, July 14,
2012, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service for family and close
friends will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2012, at Kirk, Huggins
& Esterdahl Funeral Home Ltd. 1301 4th St., Orion. Burial is at
Western Township Cemetery, Orion.
James was born July 12, 1936, in Moline, the son of Harold and
Maxine Radue Keleher. He married Marlene Ristau on June 12, 1955, in
Coal Valley.
James was employed as a machinist at John Deere Harvester Works
for 31 years, retiring in 1994.
He is survived by his wife, Marlene; daughters and sons-in-law,
Kay (Larry) Manecke, Moline, Kim (David) Sievers, Orion, Kelly (Dale)
Harmon, Moline, and Kathy (Randy) Heiar, Milan; grandchildren, Scott
(Clare) Manecke, Brian (Sarah) Manecke, Megan Manecke, Kyle Harmon,
Alyssa Harmon, Abigail Heiar, Camille Heiar, Todd Sievers and Shea
Sievers; great-grandchildren, Luke, Jonathan, Mara and Rachel; brothers
Robert (Susan) Keleher and Patrick Keleher; and sisters, Mickey (Roger)
Woodley and Beverly Nunn.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
