Thomas S. Kimm
Thomas S. Kimm, 53, of Odenton, Md., a former Pierson
resident, died Monday at his home following a long illness.
Military services will be held Friday at Arlington National
Cemetery, Arlington, Va.
Mr. Kimm was born Oct. 17, 1915, at Pierson. He was graduated
from Pierson High School and entered the Army in February of 1937. He
married Kristine Fichtl, April 20, 1956 at Munich Germany. Kimm was a
specialist seventh class when he received his medical discharge Sept.
25, 1968. They moved to Odenton from Ft. George Meade, Md., where he had
been stationed.
He was a member of the Methodist Church and the American Legion.
Survivors include the widow; daughter, Miss Annemaire Kimm, at
home, a son Thomas, at home; a sister, Mrs. Lloyd Rogers of Sioux City;
five half-sisters, Mrs. Carrie Bauer of Anoka, Minn., Mrs. Lura Hathaway
of Beach, N.D., Mrs. Laura Shea of Emmetsburg, Iowa and Mrs. Hannah
Meister and Mrs. Marie McDermott, both of Kingsley, Iowa.
