Retired SFC John Ralph Kness, 74, of 2252 Memory St.,
Fayetteville, N.C., died Wednesday, July 12, 2000, at home.
Services were July 16 at Hamilton-Porter Funeral Home,
Fayetteville. Burial was in Lafayette Memorial Park with full military honors.
Survivors include a son, George A. Kness, Snoqualmie Falls,
Wash.; daughters, Patricia Edwards, Hope Mills, N.C., Margaret Amick,
Tillamook, Ore., and Marina Kness, Las Vegas, Nev.; sisters, Imogene
McFate, Columbia, Mo., and Joan Mack, Viola; five grandchildren; and
four great-grandchildren.
